1O O'Clock Live Returns To Channel 4

10 x 45 minutes launching February 2012

News junkies and comedy fans unite, Channel 4's contemporary current affairs show, 10 O'Clock Live will return for a ten part run in February.

David Mitchell, Charlie Brooker, Lauren Laverne and Jimmy Carr will reunite to shine an uncomfortably bright light on the week's events and give an alternative take on what you think are the facts.

The weekly series will use the presenting team's collective talents as comics, performers and commentators to bring a witty, funny and intelligent take on current issues and events. 10 O'Clock Live will be an ever changing mixture of topical comedy, satire, sketches, and round table discussions designed to get the audience debating and questioning what really is happening in the world around us.

The show will be broadcast live each week, and the team will be joined by a range of studio guests, from politicians to cultural commentators and other experts.

Once again 10 O'Clock Live will poke and prod the news agenda, reacting to events as they happen in real time. Highlights from series one saw 10 O'Clock Live being the first show to announce Alan Johnston's resignation, John Prescott taking on self confessed phone hacker Paul McMullan and Lauren Laverne breaking the news of UN's commitment to a No Fly Zone in Libya.

10 O'Clock Live is set to be provocative, clever and most of all, funny. (EDITOR: Let's hope they are right)
