Seven mouths, seven mics, no instruments, THE VOCAL ORCHESTRA take to the stage at this year's E4 Udderbelly Festival from MONDAY 9 APRIL UNTIL SUNDAY 27 MAY with a spine-tingling hour of incredible musical entertainment.

Combining jaw dropping human beatboxing, glorious vocal harmonies and floor-wobbling bass lines, The Vocal Orchestra is a breathtakingly original show, written and created by internationally acclaimed beatboxer Shlomo, and performed by a company of the world's most exciting beatboxing superstars.

The Vocal Orchestra is a dynamic and exciting new show created and directed by award winning beatboxer Shlomo. His sell-out show Mouthtronica received 5 Star reviews at the 2011 Edinburgh Festival Fringe and saw collaborations with James Morrison and Michael Winslow as well as performances on BBC Radio 1. A Guinness World Record holder, Shlomo gave up astrophysics to develop his unique brand of vocal pyrotechnics. It was a good move. Since then he has won global acclaim and worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry including Bjork, Damon Albarn, Jarvis Cocker, Martha Wainwright, Imogen Heap, The Specials, DJ Yoda, Jason Mraz and even comedians The Mighty Boosh.

This uplifting mashup of intricate group beatbox routines and roof-raising interpretations of all-time classics from Jackson 5's I Want You Back and Son of a Preacher Man by Dusty Springfield to Out of Space by The Prodigy and David Bowie's Let's Dance will leave you whooping, clapping and dancing all the way home. Don't miss it!

Following in the footsteps of Tom Tom Crew, Brazil Brazil and Free Run; The Vocal Orchestra is the first headline show to be announced for E4's 4th Udderbelly Festival, the second will be announced later this month.
