Quincy, Series 3 Now Available

When Jack Klugman died last Christmas, Hollywood lost one of its best actors, in my opinion.

You'll recall that the TV news ran clips of him repeatedly in one of his most famous starring roles as Quincy, M.E.

Acorn Media are rightly proud to be able to help celebrate the works of this fine actor by releasing
Quincy, M.E. Complete Series Three on DVD.

Klugmann really got into this role and he arguably gave some of the best performances of his career whilst playing Quincy, M.E.

It was originally broadcast from 1976 until 1983 and is the father of subsequent forensic detective series like CSI.

Quincy was strong-willed and very principled. He saw it as his duty to ensure that the dead person whose body was in his care got the answers as to what brought their life to an end.

You'll get a bumper set of all 20 episodes on six DVDs.

When a dead body arrives at the morgue, Quincy aided by his equally dedicated assistant Sam Fujiyama and sometimes helped or hindered by his sometimes bureaucratic boss Dr Asten and his police detective friend LAPD homicide lieutenant Frank Monahan, must find out how they died and, sometimes, why.

Not only were the episodes exciting the programme was also unafraid to deal with some controversial and hard-hitting subjects.

It is now available and should cost about £35.00.
